Piketon Lions Club The Piketon Lions Club was chartered in 1952, under the Lions Clubs International, to serve the community in Piketon, Ohio We are actively seeking new members.

The Piketon Lions Club has been serving the Piketon community since 1952. We are a world-wide service organization, helping individuals with sight impairments and supporting the local community. Activities that we support in the Piketon area are the Annual Halloween Parade, the Piketon Lions Birthday Calendar and the Piketon Lions High School Scholarship. We are a small club, which would like to d

Makenna Butler, Miss Portsmouth River Days 1st Runner-up, presented the Piketon Lions Club with nearly 600 used glasses that she collected as part of her Miss Portsmouth River Days community service project. The nearly 600 used glasses Makenna collected will be delivered to the Ohio State Optometry Department for cleaning, measuring and sorting for eventually dispensing to Third World people in need.

The Piketon Lions Club held their 32nd annual Halloween Costume Judging event last Friday (October 31st) at the old Piketon High School gym.

These are some of contestants who participated.

Free hotdogs, chips and pop were provided to all in attendance. A special thanks to Ritchie’s Marketplace for donating the hotdogs.

Winners in the Six and Under category of Most Original were 1st Lamar Blevins, 2nd Azzy Mendoza and 3rd Dominic May

Winners in the Six and Under category of Cutest were 1st Royal Mendoza, 2nd Phoenix Moore and 3rd Matthew Stanley

Winners in the Seven to Twelve category of Most Original were 1st Katherine MacGregor, 2nd Georgio Croston and Avrik Hodge and 3rd Jeremiah Stiff

Winners in the Seven to Twelve category of Scariest were 1st Joseph Stanley, 2nd Choler Mendoza and 3rd Jase Winfield

Winners in the Thirteen and Over category of Most Original were 1st Logan Keller, 2nd Emily Stiff and Ryi Alexander and 3rd Bella Stanley
