Here’s a little peek at our guest Chazzan, Aviya Nachshon, rehearsing in Israel with members of the IDF A Ca****la Choir ahead of their return to BT for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur in our Dahan Sanctuary.

Conductor Ofir Sobol, who brought the group together, is leading the rehearsals as they prepare to head to Baltimore for the High Holidays.

The group joined us last year, bringing incredible energy, beautiful voices, and so much ruach to our davening. We’re blessed to welcome them back this year and can’t wait to hear them again. 💙🇮🇱

The chagim are right around the corner, so we're getting ready with a special evening for the women of our community.

Our Pre-Chagim Women’s Night Out is Wednesday, September 2 at 7:30pm. Creative artist Leah Baron will lead us in crafting a beautiful Havdalah candle, followed by Chana Slavaticki, who will share insights to help us head into the High Holidays with a fresh perspective and some personal inspiration for the year ahead.

Light refreshments will be served.

Rabbi Posner and Rabbi Wohlberg recently headed to New York City for the Zionist Rabbinic Coalition’s annual High Holiday seminar.

The day brought rabbis together to talk about everything from crafting High Holiday sermons to exploring Israel and Jewish identity. Rabbi Wohlberg presented “L’Chaim: Making Sermons Come Alive,” sharing his approach to creating sermons that resonate during the High Holidays. 🍎🍯

We’re looking for volunteers for the Campaign Cabinet to help us connect with members of our BT community and hear some pretty wonderful stories along the way.

Campaign Kickoff: 9/3 at 8:15am
Phonathon: 10/8 at 6pm
Phonathon: 11/4 at 6pm
Phonathon: 12/1 at 8:15am or 6pm

Breakfast will be served at the kickoff, and dinner will be provided at the evening phonathons. All events will take place in our Ivdu Program Center.
