Local authorities have been notified and are actively involved. We have been assured that surveillance has been prioritized and police will continue monitoring the Pike County Islamic Center.

If you notice anything suspicious, please contact Pike County Police at 570-491-4040 immediately.

This is also a reminder for all of us to remain aware and supportive of safety efforts at our respective mosques and community gatherings. Keeping local police and elected officials informed is an important step in protecting our spaces.

Muslim Women’s Organization was proud to sponsor iftar (breaking the Ramadan fast) at Middletown Islamic Center this past weekend. Hundreds of people joined us in a beautiful celebration of our community’s cultural diversity and culinary skills. We were honored to have the Mayor of Middletown, Joseph M. DeStefano, his office, and members of the Greater Middletown Interfaith Council join us. Alhamdulillah for our blessings.
