In a follow up to yesterday's photos featuring Ray's Drive In, we have another image from around the same era. this was taken in front of the service station that is now Mohawk Garage, looking east on Main. The pickup at the right would be in front of the armory, and the lights of the football field can be seen at the right of the Hwy 1 sign. Ray's is in the lower left with the yellow sign along the front, and part of the back part of the church is visible. Also featured is the former Conoco Station, and the vehicles in front are a 1957 Chevrolet and a 1956 Ford.

This week's Throwback Thursday photo takes us back to 1960 and am image of Ray's Drive-In from the 1961 PHS yearbook. For those too young to remember, this building was on the corner of East Main and North Templeton Avenue, across from what is now PES. Later, the building was acquired by the nearby Pentecostal Church and was converted into a part of their fellowship hall.

Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available
2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

We are looking for a dependable, experienced Nurse to join our leadership team as an Evening Nurse Supervisor in our Skilled Nursing & Long-Term Care facility.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support and supervise Charge Nurses and CNAs
• Oversee and ensure quality resident care
• Perform care plan reviews and chart/documentation audits
• Complete resident assessments and provide hands-on nursing care as needed
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Provide education and guidance to residents, families, and nursing staff
• Assist with clinical concerns, changes in condition, and staff support
• Help ensure compliance with facility policies, standards of care, and regulatory requirements

Leadership Expectations:
This is a supervisory nursing position and requires flexibility and a team-focused approach. Some on-call responsibility is required. The Evening Nurse Supervisor may also be required to provide direct nursing coverage when necessary if other coverage cannot be secured.

We’re looking for a nurse who is confident in their clinical skills, willing to lead from the floor, and ready to support a team while helping us provide excellent care to our residents.
