Most Worshipful Brother was always a great friend to Hubbard-Winsor and his visits were always welcome. He was a truly great man and personified how we should act as Masons. He will be sorely missed.

The Grand Lodge of Michigan regrets to inform you of the passing of Past Grand Master Larry L. Judson.
He was born November 17, 1949 in Durand, Michigan and passed away today, June 11, 2026.
MWB Judson joined the fraternity with Byron Lodge #80, raised on June 17, 2000. He held plural memberships with Morning Star #556, Perry #350, and Owosso #81 as well as 25 honorary memberships around the state. He was Mason of the Year with both Byron #80 and Perry #350 and also a District Mason of the Year in 2011. He served five terms as Byron #80 Worshipful Master and was elected to the Grand Line in 2018, serving as Grand Master of Masons in Michigan in 2023-24.
He was active with Elf Khurafeh Shrine, as well as the Scottish Rite Valley of Michigan NE Region. He received the 33° on August 26, 2025. MWB Judson was also a member of Fenton Chapter 248, OES, Durand Chapter 139, RAM, Durand Council 38, Durand Commandery 21 and Flint York Rite College.

WB John Champagne presents our donation check to the Lakers School Trap and S***t team!

April 26, 2026

The gift was given to the Caseville Rod & Gun Club, to support the Laker Trap and S***t Team. They are a group of 39 kids this year, ages 8 to 18 with several coach's and teachers. They practice in the spring and fall.

Last they placed 2nd in the state finals. Each boy uses 2 boxes of shells each time they meet plus 2 boxes of clay pigeons for the group. Our gift will help pay for the birds and shells. They are very thankful for the gift. In the picture a team of 10 of the older team (3 teams total), staff and coaches. We ae so grateful for the support and glad to see these kids outside learning a skill on such a beautiful day and not setting home playing an iPad or phone.

Being a Mason means being a part of a brotherhood of men built on timeless values. Values like integrity, charity, personal growth, and service to others. Freemasonry brings together men from all walks of life who share a commitment to improving themselves and making a positive impact in their communities.

Too many new Brothers overthink the dress code.

You don’t need to look like a Past Grand Whatever on day one. You don’t need flashy rings, embroidered aprons, or a closet full of “statement” pieces.

You need to look sharp. Respectful. Intentional.

Here’s the truth:

🧥 Fit beats brand.
👔 Clean beats flashy.
🪡 Tailored beats trendy.
🎨 Neutral beats loud.

The Lodge isn’t a fashion show. It’s a sacred space.

When you walk through those doors, you’re not there to impress — you’re there to work. To learn. To contribute.

Dress like the man you are.
Not the rank you haven’t earned.
Not the fantasy version of yourself.

A well-fitted dark suit.
A clean white shirt.
Simple tie. Polished shoes.

That’s timeless. That’s respectful. That’s Masonic.

Remember — the apron is the most important garment in the room. Everything else should support that, not compete with it.

Blue collar Masonry isn’t about peacocking.

It’s about showing up squared away.
