Happy Saturday, Tennessee Jaycees!

I hope everyone gets a chance this weekend to slow down, recharge, and spend some time doing something that brings you joy.

One thing I continue to appreciate about the Jaycees is that there is always another opportunity to make a difference. Sometimes it is a big community project that everyone sees. Other times, it is checking on another member, helping a chapter that needs an extra hand, inviting someone new to join us, or simply showing up when you are needed.

Those small moments matter.

As we continue through this Jaycee year, I encourage each of us to keep looking for opportunities to Learn from one another, Lead with purpose, and build a Legacy that strengthens our chapters, our communities, and the Tennessee Jaycees for those who come after us.

Thank you for everything you do. Enjoy your Saturday, keep making connections, and keep making a difference.

Learn. Lead. Legacy.

It’s hard to put an entire convention into just a few pictures or even a few words!

-Welcome Party
- Professional Development
-Board of Directors Meeting & General Assembly
-States Party
-Elections
-TOYA Round Table & Gala
- And, probably one of the best parts—seeing friends from across the country and meeting new ones!

National Convention is an opportunity to learn, lead, celebrate, connect, and be inspired. You get to see JCI in action beyond your own chapter or state and be reminded that we are part of something much bigger. It also provides you opportunities to travel to places you never been.

I wish I had taken more pictures this weekend, but sometimes that’s a sign of a great experience—I was too busy enjoying the opportunities, conversations, friendships, and moments happening around me.

I came home with new ideas, renewed motivation, some great memories, and an even greater appreciation for the people who make this organization what it is. Because at the end of the day, Earth’s great treasure lies in human personality.

Until the next Jaycee adventure!

As Jaycees we are inspired and inspire others to create positive change. It can be something big or small.

State President Ryan on the move. Today he is helping with a project with the Shelbyville Jaycees.

He might have had to make a stop before we headed to Celebration Arena.

The Tennessee Jaycees join our communities in remembering the incredible life and legacy of Dolly Parton.

From her roots in the Smoky Mountains, Dolly carried the heart of Tennessee everywhere she went. Her impact reached far beyond music. Through the Imagination Library, support for families, disaster relief, education, and countless acts of generosity, she changed lives across Sevier County, throughout Tennessee, and around the world.

Dolly lived a principle that Jaycees hold close:

“Service to humanity is the best work of life.”

Her love for her community and her commitment to giving back are a lasting example of what it means to use your gifts to serve others.

Thank you, Dolly, for making Sevier County and Tennessee proud and for showing the world the heart of the Volunteer State. ❤️🦋

Jaycee members and friends, help us celebrate Dolly’s life and legacy. Share your favorite Dolly story, photo, memory, or song in the comments below. 🎶📸
Donate to her Imagination Library to help continue her legacy.
