Weisgram has learned a lot over his time and stepped up in the 2026 Legislative Session by being THE FIRST to step up and deliver a bill to give you raises instead of the horrible, rotten 0.0% as originally proposed. Sen. Mehlhaff backed Weisgram's bill and signed on. And new Rep. Gill was once the Commissioner of Human Resources and was truly excellent for career state employees to work with, something that has been sorely lacking since she left under former Gov. Noem.
