Pierre Lodge #27 Masonry, also known as “Freemasonry,” is the oldest and largest fraternal organization in the world. Its purpose is to make good men better. Fourteen U.S.

Masons are men of charity and good works, respected leaders of their communities. Many of our nations’s founding fathers were Masons, including thirteen signers of the Constitution. Presidents were brothers of the craft, beginning with George Washington. Over four-million Masons in the U.S., from diverse religious, professional and political backgrounds, have built this fraternity on the cornerstones of friendship, compassion, and brotherly love.

A-G-E was honored with this year’s Category III Build South Dakota Award at this year’s convention!
A big thank you to our team, subcontractors and suppliers on building this project!

With this award we are given $500 to donate to any cause of our choosing. This year we chose to donate to Countryside Support and Memory Center in Pierre.

The 2026 Winter Communication of the Grand Lodge A.F. & A.M. of South Dakota will be held on Friday & Saturday, January 23 & 24, 2026, at Cedar Shore Resort, located at 1500 Shoreline Dr, Oacoma, SD 57365. Call 605-234-6376 and ask for the "Grand Lodge Block" to reserve your room for the special rate of $119 per night plus tax. Register for the Winter Communication and pay for registration and meals through Grandview at https://sd.grandview.systems/events/1715. You must have a Grandview account to register, so sign up for one, if you do not already have one. Deadline to register is January 14, 2026.
