REGISTER FOR YOUTH TACKLE FOOTBALL!

The Youth Tackle Football program provides opportunities for kids to develop football skills under the guidance of volunteer coaches. Starting with practices, children build a strong foundation in fundamentals.

As the season progresses, we transition to weekly games. It's not just about learning the game; it's about fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for football. Join us on the field for a season filled with growth, excitement, and family fun.

For kids aged 8 - 12
Mondays and Thursdays, September 8 - October 24
Oahe Softball Complex, 800 South Buchanan
Ages 8 - 10 practice 6:00 PM - 7:15 PM
Ages 9 - 12 practice 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM

Summer is almost here, and so are summer hours at the Pierre Aquatic Center!

Pierre Aquatic Center has transitioned to our summer schedule to help you make the most of pool season!

Monday – Friday
Lap Swim: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Open Swim: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Saturday
Lap Swim: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Open Swim: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Sunday
Lap Swim: 10:00 AM – 12:00

Get your kids moving this summer with Y-Fit Kids at the OAHE FAMILY YMCA! This fun and active program is designed to prepare properly and condition youth to excel in all activities.

Calling all young yogis! Join us at the Oahe Family YMCA for Kids Yoga! Enjoy a fun and imaginative experience designed just for kids ages 5–8!

Each session includes imagination, yoga poses, a game, and a take-home activity to keep the fun going at home!

School’s out, the sun is shining, and it’s the perfect time to jump into YMCA Swim Lessons!

Our current swim lesson session runs June 1st – July 18th, and there’s no better way to get summer-ready! Whether your swimmer is just dipping their toes in the water or building stronger swim skills, the OAHE FAMILY YMCA has a class for every level.

At the Y, we’re all about helping kids build confidence, stay safe around water, and discover a lifelong love of swimming, all while having FUN!

Get ready to swim, bike, and run at the OAHE FAMILY YMCA Riverman, Riverwoman, and Riverkid Triathlon! Join us at Farm Island Recreation Area in Pierre, SD, on August 8th, for a fun, family-friendly race in the great outdoors.

Open to men, women, and kids of all skill levels, participants can compete individually or as part of a team. Enjoy a beautiful course, great company, and a challenge you won’t forget!
