With all the craziness of the weather last night, I didn't get a chance to share this photo. These are mammatus clouds and there awesome and one of my favorite clouds,

Mammatus clouds are pouch-like cloud formations that hang from the undersides of other clouds, most commonly the anvil of cumulonimbus clouds associated with thunderstorms. These unique structures are formed by sinking, turbulent air, often after a storm has passed, and are not a direct sign of severe weather.

We are watching the North Dakota area for a Dangerous setup over the next few hours. North Dakota area could see very large and dangerous tornadoes across the state.

Here’s the storm outlook for today in North Dakota:

Severe storms are expected this afternoon into tonight, especially across central and eastern ND, under an Enhanced Risk (Level 3/5)

Key threats include:
* ⚠️ **10% tornado risk** within the enhanced area
* Damaging wind gusts and large hail also possible

Expect scattered supercell development as the evening progresses, carrying all severe threats and potential for tornadoes or strong straight-line winds

**📌 Stay Weather Aware:**

* Monitor local alerts and radar this afternoon and evening
* Have a safety plan ready if warned—identify safe shelter (basement/interior room)
