"Holly Wade first became familiar with The Right Turn while serving as Director of Capital Area United Way. During that time, she was impressed by the wide range of services The Right Turn provides and the meaningful impact those programs have on individuals and families throughout the community. When an opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors became available, Holly saw it as a chance to become more involved and give back to the community she now calls home.

Holly moved to Fort Pierre in 2022 and currently works for the State of South Dakota on the BISON Project. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and exploring her creative side through crafting."

We are excited to have Holly join our board and are grateful for the experience, passion, and community-minded perspective she brings to our organization. “My name is Macy Schock., and I am incredibly excited to join the Board of Directors of The Right Turn, located in my hometown of Pierre, South Dakota. I am currently a Senior Operations Specialist at First National Bank and, in 2025, became a published author with my debut novel, Missouri, My Sweet.

Three words to describe me would be charismatic, motivated, and loyal.

With my 10+ years of banking experience and 16 years of customer service, I am proud to be part of keeping The Right Turn a functioning organization for our community and the smaller surrounding communities.

It is personal to me, as I’ve known many people, whether they are someone I’ve worked with in the past, a family member, or a friend who has used this organization as a tool to better themselves and uphold a functioning society.

We must strive to keep educational organizations like The Right Turn functioning for the greater good of our community. South Dakota’s Early Childhood Enrichment system promotes the health, safety, and development of young children by supporting childcare providers, after-school programs, and others involved in the daily care of children and youth. Through trainings, resources, and technical assistance, ECE helps strengthen the quality of care across our communities.
