Capital Area United Way

❤️ Big things happen when a community comes together!

We are incredibly grateful for the team at BankWest, an organization that truly lives out a culture of giving back.

BankWest welcomed Capital Area United Way into their workplace to share more about the impact of local giving and provide their employees with an opportunity to make a difference right here in our community. And they didn’t stop there—they are matching their employees’ gifts dollar for dollar!

That means every employee gift goes even further, helping support programs and organizations that are making a real difference for thousands of local individuals and families across our region.

This is what United Is The Way is all about. When businesses lead, employees give, and organizations invest in their community, the impact is incredible.

Thank you, BankWest, for being a champion for our community and showing us what it looks like to truly give back.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Connie and Gary for their generous support of the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a program of United Way!
🦋
Because of the generosity of supporters like Connie and Gary, we can help put books into the hands of little readers, spark imaginations, encourage a love of reading, and give children the gift of learning from an early age.
📖
We are especially grateful to the Grittner family, whose incredible generosity is the driving force behind making this program possible in our community. Their commitment to investing in our youngest learners is helping plant the seeds for brighter futures, one book and one bedtime story at a time. 🌱📚
Every child deserves the magic of opening a new book, discovering new adventures, and dreaming BIG! Thank you, Connie and Gary, and the Grittner family, for helping make that magic happen. Your support is making a lasting difference in the lives of children and families in our community!

Little books. Big dreams. Brighter futures.

When a company leads by example, the impact goes even further.

A big THANK YOU to Morris Inc. for holding a Capital Area United Way workplace campaign and making an even bigger commitment by matching their employees’ gifts dollar for dollar!

That means every employee gift goes twice as far in helping support local organizations and programs that are making a difference right here in our community.

It’s more than a workplace campaign—it’s employees choosing to invest in their community, and a company choosing to stand behind them.

Thank you, Morris Inc., for showing us that United Is The Way!

Teammates is the newest partner of CAUW and we’re sure excited about their program! They are looking for mentors. Reach out if you’re interested.

We are so thankful for the South Dakota Teammates Board for supporting SD chapters.

We are in need of more MENTORS for Pierre - Ft Pierre students who want a mentor.

Ask your supervisor to support you to become a Mentor during the school day.

You’ll. Be. Glad. You. Did.

Please share.

🏦❤️ When employees give, and their employer matches, our whole community wins!

We’re grateful to First National Bank for hosting a Capital Area United Way workplace campaign and for matching their employees’ gifts to make an even greater impact.

Their team is putting generosity into action—supporting local programs and partner agencies that help our neighbors with everything from basic needs and health to children, families and financial stability.

A workplace campaign is more than a donation. It’s a team coming together and saying, “Our community matters to us.”

Thank you, First National Bank, for investing in the people and organizations that make the Capital Area stronger. United Is The Way! ❤️

The State Workplace Campaign is officially underway!

And the South Dakota Department of Revenue knows how to kick things off—with a DUNK TANK! 💦😂

Employees had some fun while raising money to support the Capital Area United Way and communities across South Dakota.

Because giving back is even better when you can have a little fun doing it!
