IMPORTANT REMINDER: Be sure to register by THIS FRIDAY, October 16, to guarantee your event t-shirt! Registration is $30 for adults, $15 for students (K-college), and FREE for ages 5 and under. Limited FREE kayaks and canoes are available to rent; just call Emily at 985-448-4990.

The Pierre Part/Belle River Business Group is excited to share another great opportunity to bring people into our community and experience what makes Pierre Part so special....our waterways, our people, our culture, and our hospitality!

Join the Barataria-Terrebonne National Estuary Program (BTNEP) for Paddle the Estuary: Bayou Pierre Part – Halloween on Saturday, October 31, beginning at 8:00 a.m. at Veterans Park.

Choose a 5.5-mile or 10-mile paddle, enjoy breakfast, jambalaya and white beans for lunch, and live music by the Cajun Music Preservation Society. It’s a great way for residents and visitors alike to experience Bayou Pierre Part from the water.

Events like this help showcase the recreational and tourism opportunities that support our local businesses and strengthen our community. Let’s welcome our visitors and show them why Pierre Part is a special place to live, work, play, and visit!
