God's peace in this "in between time"...
Sometimes the sadness clutches onto me so hard, like the tide pulling me under, refusing to let go. It comes in waves—some gentle, some crushing—each one a reminder of what was, of who should still be here. There are days when the world moves forward, but I remain frozen in the echoes of memories too precious to fade.
Grief isn’t just sorrow; it’s love with nowhere to go. It’s the weight of moments stolen too soon, the ache of empty spaces that should have been filled with laughter, warmth, and presence.
Yet, even in the depths of this sorrow, I remind myself: love does not vanish with time. It lingers in the wind, in the quiet whispers of the sea, in the places where we once stood together. And even though the sadness may clutch tightly, I carry you with me—always.
