WE ARE HIRING!

๐Ÿช๐Ÿ’œOur beloved Mr. Tchad, who has been with IDYCA since 2018, recently resigned as one of our DFAC cooks. Though he is not replaceable, we need help feeding the cadets. So, along with the available Cadre position, we are also hiring for DFAC. Both vacancy announcements close on 11/21/2025.

Please see the following links for application instructions. All applications must be submitted through the State of Idaho portal, and questions directed to the HRO for the Idaho Military Division (not the Academy location).

What an amazing week in the DFAC! ๐Ÿ’ซ
Our Gems have been such a huge help, and weโ€™ve truly enjoyed having them with us this week.

Tuesday was extra special โ€” we celebrated Idahoโ€™s fresh produce with baked potatoes, Honeycrisp apples, and colorful rainbow carrots. ๐Ÿฅ”๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅ•

On Thursday, we had a blast dressing up as characters from the movie Grease! Some of the cadets didnโ€™t know the movie, but they definitely had fun with it. ๐ŸŽค๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿ’ƒ

Weโ€™re wrapping up the week on a sweet note โ€” one of the cadetsโ€™ favorite dessertsโ€ฆ brownies! ๐Ÿซ

**๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Exciting Week at the DFAC!**

Our amazing **Gems** have been helping out in the DFAC this week, and we couldnโ€™t be more grateful for their hard work and great energy! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Last Saturday, they helped us make some delicious **grilled cheese sandwiches**, and this coming week is shaping up to be just as fun โ€” and tasty! ๐Ÿ˜‹

Hereโ€™s whatโ€™s cooking this week:
๐Ÿฅ” **Baked Potato Bar** for lunch โ€” a first for us!
๐Ÿณ **Biscuits and Gravy** for breakfast
๐Ÿฅž **Homemade Pancakes** for dinner
๐Ÿง€ And of course, our classic **Grilled Cheese Sandwiches** from last weekend!

Itโ€™s going to be a great week full of good food, teamwork, and fun times at the DFAC. Come hungry and ready to enjoy! ๐Ÿ’ชโœจ
