Still plenty of things taking place across town today! (Sunday 6/25/23)

Cornerstone Christian Church will be having a Sandwich/Salad Bar Luncheon from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The meal is a free will offering!

Zion Lutheran Church is having their ground blessing ceremony at 11:15 for the new school! Show your support for this exciting project!

The Pierce Nebraska Historical Society invites you to come tour the Museum from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Kids Day in the Park is happening from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. down at Gillman! Free Swim at the Pool, Bounce Houses, Kids Activities, and B's & G's 4-H Club Cotton Candy & Popcorn Sale all taking place during this time!

Pierce Fire and Rescue is having their amazing BBQ at the Fire Hall from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

St Joseph's Church is having their Annual Ice Cream Social at the parish hall from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Finally, we wrap up a busy weekend with the FIREWORKS at the Fairgrounds. Fireworks start at dark.. and don't forget to tune in to the synced music on 88.9 FM during the show!! B's & G's 4-H Club Cotton Candy & Popcorn Sale all taking place during this time!

We are SUPER excited for this years Fireworks show! Thanks to Pierce Fire for their knowledge and man power to put the show on along with Elkhorn Valley Bank, Midwest Bank & Pierce Telephone for helping make the show possible!!!

This year's Willow Creek Festival Fireworks show brought to you by the Pierce Community Organization and sponsored by Midwest Bank, Elkhorn Valley Bank, and Pierce Telephone Company. This year's theme with Pierce Alumni Association is GREASE! See all of you Sunday night at 10pm at the Pierce County Fairgrounds.

A fun weekend ahead here in Pierce!! Here is a schedule of events happening starting tomorrow...

Friday, June 23:

Movie Night at Chilvers Park in Pierce (behind the courthouse). Come watch the new Super Mario Brothers movie starting at 9:00 pm! Popcorn donated by Town & Country Insurance. Bring your own snacks, lawn chairs, and/or blankets!

Saturday, June 24:

Who's getting pumped up for movie night to kick off the BIG weekend ahead?! All are welcome to come and join us for the Super Mario Brothers movie Friday evening (around 9:00 pm! The movie will be shown at Chilvers Park behind the courthouse in Pierce.

There will be bags of popcorn donated by TCI - Pierce, Plainview & Osmond, a division of GTA Insurance Group, but you can bring your own snacks, too. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets!

A free will donation bucket will be out to help with the Chilvers Park 2.0 project!

Willow Creek Festival weekend is just a few days away! We start things off with Movie Night… and it’s sure to be SUPER! We are showing the new Super Mario Brothers movie this Friday night at Chilvers Park! TCI - Pierce, Plainview & Osmond, a division of GTA Insurance Group is donating bags of popcorn (but you are more than welcome to bring your own movie snacks, too!) Movie to start (roughly) at 9:00 p.m.!
