We had so much at our Summer Reading Kick-Off Party yesterday! Thank you so much to everyone who came out in the heat, and we hope you had fun! We sure did!

It also would not be the event it was without all the people who helped us! Thank you to the following organizations for coming to our Touch-a-Truck event: Piedmont EMS Piedmont Fire Department Pete Lien & Sons, Inc. Meade County Sheriff's Office Polaris of the Black Hills, Piedmont City, and the 109th Engineer Battalion! SaySay’s Sweet Treats and You’Nique Brew brought their food trucks, which we are grateful for! We also want thank the Papa Down Band for providing live music for us and helping set a fun atmosphere for the event.

This post would not be complete if we didn’t show our gratitude to all the lovely library volunteers who came out in the heat and ran booths for us! Truly, thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We could not do it without you!
