The 12th Annual Tucker W. Hipps Memorial Golf Tournament is scheduled to take place on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Southern Oaks Golf Course in the Powdersville/Easley area. Everyone is invited to attend. The event proceeds will continue to support those in need, local organizations that give back to our community and help young people become good citizens and leaders for tomorrow. We are saddened by the recent death of Connie Clery who championed campus safety after the death of her daughter, Jeanne. She will always be remembered! We will always speak of Jeanne. We are praying for the entire Clery Family!

"While we mourn the loss of an extraordinary woman, we also celebrate a life defined by resilience, compassion, service, and impact. Connie's work changed higher education forever, but perhaps her greatest legacy is the countless lives that have been protected because she refused to accept that tragedy should be met with silence".

It is with profound sadness that Clery Center shares the passing of our co-founder, Constance Benjamin Clery. Connie passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026 at the age of 95.

Tucker W. Hipps Memorial Foundation is a proud supporter of Palmetto Boys State. We were honored to present two scholarships to a junior and senior counselor this past Friday night.

Junior counselor, Davis Calhoun Reeves, received the Tucker W Hipps Memorial scholarship which is an award given through Clemson in Tucker's memory to a junior counselor who will be attending Clemson.

The senior counselor award presented in Tucker's memory is voted on by the other senior counselors attending boys state. The Tucker W. Hipps Memorial award and scholarship was awarded to Senior Counselor, Evan Talbert.

Congratulations to these young men!
