This petition is to Legalize the sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages w

ithin Cherokee County, Alabama. Copies have been distributed at various businesses in the county for signatures. This petition will require 4,000 signatures by August 16th, 2022. Petition signers must be registered voters in Cherokee County, Alabama. As the law stands now, we have wet municipalities, but a dry county. Areas of the Weiss Lake and creek(s) are in the county, not a municipality. This mean enjoying a beer on your own dock, is against the law. Many believe it is time to allow alcohol in all of Cherokee County, not just select municipalities. If you support this effort, and are a registered Cherokee County voter, please locate and sign a petition. Electronic signatures are not allowed, they must be in ink. If our petition is successful, the resolution will be included on the November 8th, 2022 general election ballot. Find a petition at a business near you @
