The Kid's Closet and Dress Exchange will be open Thursday - August 20 Saturday - August 22 11am - 2 pm.

We are all set up for the kids closet and ready to receive donations, we have 5 wonderful girls from Pickford Public School who really got this project going, later this week we will start sorting and hanging up the gently used items we already have! We are looking for gently used clothing for kids ages 0-18.

If your like me when your kids outgrow their clothes you put them in a tote and think I’ll bring those to good will or sell them one of these days, next thing you have 3 sizes from 3 kids of clothes that look barely worn! Or in your own closet you have things that are still in great condition but you just don’t wear them anymore, please consider donating to this project, these girls have come up with a great plan to help their classmates that don’t have the opportunity to go buy something anytime they need it they can come to the church and pick out whatever they need!

Lastly one of the girls is doing a dress exchange for prom dresses or any type of dresses where you can bring your dresses you are done with to the church and any girl who would like to wear a new dress to a dance can come borrow any one she wants and return it later for someone else to wear!

This project is sponsored by several girls in the FCCLA and the Pickford United Methodist Church to ensure the kids in our community have access to everything they need!

If you or someone you know are in need of clothing please stop by the church during the hours of operation listed at the bottom of this page and shop for anything you need!

If you have gently used clothing in your closet that is not being used or dresses you don’t wear anymore we ask that you would consider donating to the Kids Closet/Dress Exchange to help the kids in our community.

If you are unable to come shop or donate during the hours of operation you can find us on facebook, stop by the elementary office or the church and ask for someone to meet you there, we have volunteers willing to meet you!
