It's Almost Time to Gear Up Ignited 🔥

Tomorrow is the Ignited Youth Field Day & Bonfire!!

We need YOU in the building! 2 teams will battle it out in a series of relay races games & in a legendary game of capture the flag. We'll end the night around the fire for hot dogs, smores & worship 🙌🏾

Don't forget to bring $5 for food. Bring bug spray or inhalers if necessary.

Hi Ignited 🔥 let's reflect on this week's bible study key points.

Review:
In Daniel 2, King Nebuchadnezzar knew that the sorcerers, magicians, astrologers spoke in false wisdom & simply telling him what he wanted to hear. But he could not deny the power of God demonstrated through Daniel. The Kingdom of God stands on TRUTH.

Daniel responded to a high stress situation by seeking support from his community & seeking God in the secret place through prayer. He chose to seek God FIRST in full faith the Lord would provide a solution.

When God revealed the mystery, Daniel's immediately responded by blessing & praising God for who He was. He did not focus on what God saved him from or even in his own righteousness. But he exalted God high above every detail of the situation as sovereign. This reminds us to keep our gaze on Jesus rather than our self imposed desired outcome of prayer.

Next Up:
Read through Daniel 1 again on your own this week. We will return next Ignited bible study to finish Daniel 2 & continue practical ways to boldly exemplify Kingdom through civil discourse conversations.
