ilored for an adult audience, minors under 18 are welcome when accompanied by a paying adult. The event location is 300 Opportunity Way, Pickerington, OH 43147. The area, platted by Abraham Pickering in 1815, still retains its original charm and beauty. Former Village homes have been transformed into unique retail shops, beauty salons, studios, eateries as well as professional offices. Pickerington Village is surrounded by Victory and Sycamore Creek Parks which provide for a wide range of outdoor activities including hiking, biking, skateboarding, soccer, tennis and picnicking. Picktown Palooza was created to celebrate Pickerington’s and Violet Township’s charm and hospitality.

Today, we pause for something bigger than concerts, fireworks, and the unofficial start of summer.

Memorial Day is not the same as Veterans Day.

Veterans Day honors all who have served.
Memorial Day honors those who never made it home.

Today is about remembering the brave men and women who gave their lives defending our freedoms and our country. Their sacrifice is the reason we are able to gather with family, celebrate together, and enjoy the freedoms we often take for granted.

At Picktown Palooza, supporting our veterans and honoring our military community is something deeply important to us. That is why our Picktown Palooza Freedom 5K sponsored by OrthoNeuro is more than just a race. It is a way for our community to come together in remembrance, gratitude, and support for those who have served and sacrificed.

This Memorial Day, we encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect, remember, and honor our fallen heroes.
