IN TODAY'S EDITION OF LIONS IN THE WILD: Members of the Pickerington Lions Club were seen enjoying their evening at the Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards dinner tonight. Whether attending, volunteering, sponsoring, or spending way too much money on silent auction items, Lions were proud to join Chamber President (and Lion!) Kimberly Barlag for this wonderful event supporting our community. Congratulations to the winners!

We have it all at the Pickerington Lions Club Cruise-In Brews this Saturday, May 30th at Combustion Brewery & Taproom - Pickerington. Don't miss this opportunity to see unique cars from all over the area on display, you can even vote for your favorites.

There will be food, a live band, and the opportunity to donate your used eyeglasses 🥸 or new and gently used jackets and coats to help the Lions Club with our America 250 Service Project 🇺🇸(wait until you see what we're collecting for June!) Proceeds will go toward Pickerington Lions Club charities 😃

CONGRATULATIONS TO PHSC graduating senior (and Pickerington Lions Club's very own Roary) Antoine Lee! He has been selected to perform as a member of the Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestra (CSYO) during the ensemble’s upcoming European concert tour through Austria and the Czech Republic.

The week-long tour, which begins June 1, will feature performances in Vienna and Prague while giving student musicians the opportunity to experience some of Europe’s most historic musical and cultural landmarks. According to CAPA and the Columbus Symphony, this marks the first international performance tour for the CSYO since 2005.

We could not be more thrilled for Antoine as he embarks on this remarkable journey. And congratulations to his mom Lion Shira Lee🦁

It's raining today, but we have pre-ordered lots of sunshine for NEXT WEEKEND'S Pickerington Lions Club Cruise-In Brews at Combustion Brewery & Taproom - Pickerington.

Come see classic and unique cars at their shiniest, enjoy great food and beer, and give back to your community on Saturday, May 30th from 11am - 4pm. Then vote for your favorites!

We will be collecting new and gently used coats and jackets for our May America 250 service project, and we always welcome your eyeglasses donations, too.

A FREE Community Event presented by Pickerington Lions Club and Combustion Pickerington. This outdoor event and beer garden will take place in the Combustion parking lot! Event proceeds benefit Lions Club Charities. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.

☀️Now that it's MAY and the weather is warming up, it's time to go through our closets and see if there are new or gently used JACKETS and COATS that may looking for a new home. As part of our America 250 project for 2026, we will be collecting and donating as many jackets and coats as we can. Won't you show your spirit and donate as well?

Coats can be dropped off at the Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce now at the historic train depot at 15 East Columbus Street, at Central Ohio Insurance Services (COIS) at 1205 Hill Road North in Pickerington, and Combustion Brewery & Taproom - Pickerington.

Finally, you can drop off your jackets and coats at the Cruise-In Brews on Saturday, May 30th from 11am - 4pm.

We had a full house for one incredible evening at the Pickerington Lions Club meeting tonight! Not only did we present the very first Military Family Scholarships, but we also delivered our April America 250 collected items to Jo Welsh with Bottoms Up Diaper Bank. Finally, our members heard about tips for keeping our brains healthy from Deneen Day with the Alzheimer's Association.
