Here are some notes from the meeting yesterday. Theresa please post this in our float Facebook group and if I forgot anything please add to it

If you want to buy breakfast they will post the details in the Facebook group page
6:30-9 breakfast for those who buy it
8-9 DJs for floats can set up
9 open to us to load floats
12:30 we start pulling out
1:00 parade starts
Check Facebook group page for the chart of the floats in the parking lot - we load at Fritchie park through a certain entrance (Come through old Spanish trail by gym)
Disbanding near rouses on Gause
City ordinances and some rules:
- No drinking (they said cops will point people out if belligerent and take them off) but of course they had to post this and some other just bc they have city rules lol
- No cans and no glass
- No smoking or vapes for safety reasons and bc floats are made of paper mache
- No dirty throws
- Only members on float and 1 person for DJ. No one else can board the float and they ask no children on floats during loading time due to safety reasons
- No cursing type, explicit, or foul language type music
- You can bring small ice chests on floats but NO styrofoam ice chests
I think they said bring your own toilet paper etc (we have a potty on the float)
We plan to put up money to Theresa to tip the driver of our float - Venmo her - we gave 17 on top the 33 for the DJ to make it 50
We have 12 floats and 54 units total (marching groups + ROTC + cowboys + floats + etc)
We are float # 6 Troop Antheia
Feb 2nd is the only time to pick up Antheia cups - they will NOT be distributed day of parade. They’ll do a drive thru at the location posted on the page
We will be provided a lunch for free before we ride courtesy of the board - pulled pork sandwiches chips….
And Allyson, Taylor gave me your black Antheia shirt and I’ll bring it with me to the parade😘
