Entwine Arts

Entwine Arts Entwine is a collaboration of artists with mixed abilities, varying experience, and diverse backgrounds exploring the world of fiber art.

The heart of Entwine is textile design which includes weaving, sewing, printmaking, dyeing, and spinning. Together, the artists of Entwine strive to create a cohesive body of work while also teaching skills and fostering independence for considering one's own creativity. Entwine is a place for creative community members to come together to find inspiration, explore challenges, and develop as artis

ts side by side. Entwine is an enterprise within the larger organization Camphill Soltane. Camphill Soltane was founded in Chester County in 1988 with the mission of creating more choices and opportunities for young adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. Some values that have always been core to Camphill Soltane include: providing care and consideration to all people, regardless of background or ability; creating community contexts where natural relationships can grow and thrive; and encouraging creative exploration for all who engage our communities. Through Entwine, Camphill Soltane hopes to bring these values to the larger community.

🌈✨ This week marks the conclusion of our watercolor class, and we're overflowing with gratitude for the vibrant community that made it truly special!

Inclusivity is at the heart of our community, and it's awe-inspiring to witness the diverse talents and perspectives that have flourished within our class. From different backgrounds, ages, and experiences, we've come together to celebrate the universal language of art.

A massive thank you to everyone who contributed to the rich tapestry of our watercolor sessions! 🙏💖 It's not just about brushstrokes on paper; it's about creating a space where every voice is heard, every story is valued, and every color on the palette is cherished.

More classes to come in the new year!

Ean just started learning to sew a few weeks ago and already made his first pair of pants! With guidance from Entwine staff, Ean cut pattern pieces, pinned, sewed with a serger machine, ironed with an industrial iron, and gained the confidence to make his garment dreams come true!
