We’ll bring the sheers, you bring the cheers! This month, we have two fun volunteer opportunities, including our first-ever fruit tree pruning workshop, which will give you the knowledge and tools to take a fruit tree from just a snapped twig, to an all-star producer at your very own home! 🍒🍑

No green thumb required - we provide all materials and training. These events are a great way to meet new people, enjoy the outdoors, and have a positive impact on our local community!

Today, AP News reported that tomato prices are up about 40% over a year ago, according to the latest Consumer Price Index, dwarfing increases for other groceries, including coffee (up 18.5%), beef roasts (up 17.8%) and frozen fish and seafood (up 12%), among other products that have become symbols of America’s affordability squeeze.

Trellis's Food for All program donates over 50,000 lbs. of organic produce to food-insecure individuals each year - including LOTS of tomatoes. Urban agriculture is a powerful part of a multifaceted solution for addressing improved nutrition and food access, especially when prices for healthy food are unaffordable.

🐣 $10 donation = 1 flock name submission

🐔 Submit 5 or more names and receive a discounted rate

Once submissions close at midnight, finalists will be chosen, and the community will vote to crown the winning flock name.
