Devlin-Gatcha Funeral Home and Cremation Services was proud to sponsor the Christopher M. Fuga Memorial Foundation Golf Classic. This event brings friends, family, and community members together to honor Christopher’s memory while supporting causes that were important to him.

Christopher M. Fuga passed away from Acute Myeloid Leukemia at just 24 years old. In his memory, his family established the Christopher M. Fuga Memorial Foundation, which works to raise awareness and support blood cancer research, provide educational assistance to students, and give back through other philanthropic causes.

We are grateful to have the opportunity to support the Fuga family and the continued work of the Foundation. It is a privilege to be part of an event that celebrates Chris’s life while helping create a lasting impact in his memory.

It’s hard to believe that 2025 is coming to a close this week. It’s even harder to believe it’s been 10 years since Chris passed, and while it will always feel sad, we are eternally grateful for all of the support you show each year to this foundation in his memory.

We are proud to share that our 2025 disbursement to Fox Chase Cancer Center was $60,000, and an additional $13,000 was donated to several entities to support student educational needs and other non-profits.

If you are looking for delicious lunch or dinner plans tomorrow, Monday 12/29, it is the final Monday of Sedona Taphouse’s Dine Out for Charity, which directly benefitted the Foundation this month. We hope to see you there!
