And to all, a good night. 🎬❤️

That’s a wrap on the 4th Annual Phoenixville Film Festival.

Our hearts are so full. Thank you to every filmmaker and screenwriter who shared their stories with us, every volunteer who showed up with a smile, every audience member who filled the theaters, every sponsor and partner who helped make this weekend possible, and everyone who helped bring a little more magic to Phoenixville.

A very special thank you to the Colonial Theatre for being our home and helping us create four unforgettable days of movies, memories, laughter, tears, conversations, and community.

To our filmmakers & screenwriters: thank you for trusting us with your stories.

To our volunteers: thank you for giving your time and your hearts.

To our audiences: thank you for showing up and cheering these films on.

And to everyone behind the scenes: we couldn’t do this without you.

This festival is so much more than the films. It’s the people who make it what it is. And we are incredibly grateful for every single one of you.

Until next September… ❤️🎬

Thank you for making the 2026 Phoenixville Film Festival one we’ll never forget.

🚨 What happens when satire goes too far… for the police?

In 2016, amateur comedian Anthony Novak created a parody page poking fun at his local police department. What happened next was no joke.

Crime & Parody, directed by Will Thwaites, follows Anthony’s unbelievable fight for his First Amendment rights after police raided his home, jailed him, and charged him with a felony for his satirical posts. With support from The Onion, his case eventually made its way all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.

A fascinating and timely story about free speech, satire, and what happens when the people in power don’t appreciate the joke.
