Join us tomorrow to call on County Commissioners to protect open space and December 13th at Borough Council.

The Borough Solicitor made a statement that the Borough cannot use Eminent Domain if they are seeking grants. This is untrue. We have called the PA Department of Conservation & Natural Resources, several attorneys and land conservation organizations.

The Borough absolutely can use Eminent Domain.

I mean, they are currently using in other instances. So why are they refusing to protect our community and keep this PUBLIC land in PUBLIC hands?

We have met with an environmental consultant, and there are many concerns, from possible underground gas/oil tanks to habitat and flooding. The irreparable harm this sale and development would cause will cost us all in higher taxes.

The Borough Council, School Board and County Commissioners can all work together and protect our community from irreparable environmental harm,

We know this is what people want, so why aren't they acting?

This Giving Tuesday, please donate toward the legal fund to protect open space.

Hearing on Sunshine Violations by PASD School Board is pending

Hearing on request by PASD to sell the old K-Center is in February

There is a lot we are going to do. Most important, fight to protect our community from a bad vote based on misinformation that will likely increase our taxes, cause irreparable environmental harm and stormwater issues that may cause more flooding.

We don't have to let this happen.
