Litter is the enemy and the trash doesn't take itself out!

Here's the plan for June 19, 20, & 21
I'm so excited to be wrapping up the cleanup for this section, anticipating a grand total for trash weight to be around 45,000 pounds!

Seriously considering having a river safari event on this freshly cleaned section!

The river has been so much cleaner lately that in the past week alone we've seen river otters, beavers, fishers, bald eagles, osprey, and other important members of the local ecosystem

The river side of the Lock 60 Loop is clean! This Labor of Love is going to become a work of maintaining what we've accomplished!

The next River Cleanup Is June 19, 20, and 21
That's Father's Day weekend so if you're a dad, bring your kids.
If you have a dad, join us with him on the river.
If you want to honor the memory of a dad, come make the world a better place because I'm sure he wanted the world to be better for you.

As we're winding down the cleanup season we want to say thanks to one of our biggest supporters - A.J. Blosenski.

Without A.J. Blosenski we wouldn't be able to do any of our cleanups this year and all that help has been facilitated by Susan McCallan. If you could help Save the Schuylkill, A.J. Blosenski, and Susan, please take a minute to write a review for her at the link below; include her name and let them know how much their contributions this year has made a difference in the Schuylkill River. Hopefully they stay on as a supporter for 2026 so we can continue taking out the trash!

I'll have more updates and event planning soon, I'm struggling with a little burnout and taking things easy right now.

Thanks so much!
