Today is World Mental Health Day, and this year’s theme is “Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change.”💚

It’s a reminder that every person’s experience with mental health is unique—and that listening, understanding, and making space for people to share what they’re going through matters.

At Christian Family Care, we believe caring for children and families means caring for the whole person. Mental and emotional well-being are an important part of healthy families, and no one should feel like they have to navigate a difficult season alone.

Our partner ministry, Arizona Family Counseling, provides compassionate, professional counseling services for children, teens, adults, and families.

Meet Logan!👋

Logan is a playful, confident, and energetic young man who loves staying active and spending time with friends. Whether he’s playing video games, listening to music, reading, or participating in high-energy activities, Logan brings plenty of enthusiasm to the things he enjoys.

He has a passion for sports, especially basketball, boxing, and MMA, and enjoys hands-on, kinesthetic learning at school. Logan is curious about the world around him and enjoys learning about different perspectives and hearing about other people’s experiences.

As he thinks about his future, Logan has expressed interest in cars, MMA, the military, and social services. He is still exploring what he may want to pursue as he grows.

We feel Logan would thrive in a structured, two-parent home with consistency, encouragement, and strong guidance. He is open to having pets and siblings, particularly older siblings who could provide positive examples and support.

Most importantly, Logan is looking for a family who will embrace his personality, encourage his interests, and walk alongside him as he continues to grow.

Meet the ultimate sibling duo, Rayne and Skyler!👋

Rayne and Skyler are a fun-loving duo who bring plenty of personality wherever they go. Rayne is affectionate and sociable, while Skyler is outgoing and charismatic—and, together, they share a special bond and a love for making memories.

Rayne dreams of becoming a police officer someday because she wants to help others, while Skyler hopes to become a YouTuber who creates playthroughs of scary video games. Whether they’re dreaming about movie nights, roller coasters, swimming, sports, or their next adventure, both siblings have plenty of things they’re excited to experience.

They also share a big love for animals and would enjoy a home where they can help care for family pets. Most importantly, Rayne and Skyler are looking for a family where they can feel safe, supported, respected, and encouraged to grow together.

We are looking for volunteers at the CFC Thrift Store to help create a welcoming, organized shopping experience for our customers!

From sorting and pricing merchandise to keeping displays looking their best and assisting shoppers, volunteers play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the store.

🕐 Minimum 4-hour shift
📅 Monday - Saturday | 9 am - 6 pm
