PHX Zine Fest

PHX Zine Fest The 10th annual PHX Zine Fest is Sept 26 & 27, 2026 at Rocket Space Gallery!

Phx Zine Fest is an annual gathering for DIY Small Press enthusiasts who create and enjoy zines, indie comics, photography books, perzines, political pamphlets and the like. Arizona has a lot of creativity to offer and Phx Zine Fest provides the space to show it off! The mission of Phx Zine Fest is to encourage local creators to share their unique ideas and perspectives, often ones that are underrepresented in mainstream media. This mission is more important than ever, as many media outlets prioritize divisiveness over giving voice to historically silenced groups. PZF welcomes everyone to join in on the excitement of DIY publishing, and especially strives to create safe spaces for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ creators and visitors.

Zine Fest starts this FRIDAY from 6-10p for our kick off event and art show opening! PHX Zine Fest then takes place Saturday and Sunday from 11-4p! If you're like us, you like to know the deets. We got you! 🚀🌕🌵🎠✨

🚀Venue - Rocket Space Gallery is located at 37 W Southern Ave within Danelle Plaza on the corner of Southern and Mill avenues in Tempe. It’s a multi-functional gallery space managed by the TAMC, who frequently collaborate with local artists for large art exhibits and events. It’s a space some of us zinesters have been frequenting for years!

🌕Parking - Lucky for us, there are hundreds of free parking spaces at the plaza and cool art to see while walking around.

🌵Nearby - Located nearby is Yucca Tap Room, Electric Bat Arcade, Zia Records Tempe, and many restaurants.

🎠Questions - Whether you're vending or attending, feel free to comment here or DM us if you have any last minute questions or concerns!

✨VENDORS: Make sure to read the vendor packet attached to the email you received earlier this week! We've shared all the info you need to set you up for success!

Please read through our PHX Zine Fest COVID-19 policy and mask requirements!

You can help everyone out at fest by bringing masks, by wearing a mask snuggly over your mouth and nose, and encouraging others to do the same. We keep us safe!

Introducing our PZF '26 Sponsor: City of Tempe - Community Arts Grant

We’re excited to announce that the 10th Annual PHX Zine Fest is a project partially funded by a City of Tempe Community Arts Grant this year! This grant allowed our team to produce another great two-day PHX Zine Fest with over 80 zine-making vendors. Big thanks goes to City of Tempe for welcoming our fest and supporting us with this arts grant and for the Tempe Art and Music Coalition for hosting us at Rocket Space Gallery in Danelle Plaza!

Introducing our PZF '26 Sponsor: Wasted Ink Zine Distro

Wasted Ink is PHX Zine Fest’s host since 2016! Wasted Ink is a distribution center for zines, resources/info, and funds in Phoenix, AZ that provides international distribution, printing services, the annual PHX Zine Fest, and an extensive zine library - all dedicated to uplifting voices of historically marginalized creators who are Black, Indigenous, People of Color, LGBTQIA+, disabled, chronically ill, or neurodivergent.

Self-publishing has always been a form of resistance and subversion, allowing writers and artists to speak directly to their lived experiences while shaping their culture. Wasted Ink aims to honor this tradition and support as many zinesters as possible in utilizing the freedom of the press.

Wasted Ink collaborates in community with SATURNHEX and Shut Eye Press at Paper Jam + Print. In 2025, Wasted Ink expanded into a larger location on McDowell Road!
