Mama Rory and her daughter Lory were both saved from Casa Grande shelter, by different people on different days through Desert Haven… both living in tiny crates in an overflow room, unseen and scared… well yesterday they got to REUNITE and we are sobbing! 🥹🥹🥹 Such a beautiful moment, another reason why we do what we do! 🙌🏻💕🐶🐶

It’s that time of year again! Our second annual garage sale fundraiser for Desert Haven! Last year we were able to bring two more dogs into our rescue because of your generosity in donated items! Let’s see if we can do it again! We have three different drop-off locations and we’re accepting all types of items, just asking for no clothes, blankets or towels this year! 🫶🏼 Thank you all so much in advance for supporting our Rescue and helping us save more innocent lives!

WELCOME TO THE DHS FAM, ROVER! 🥰
Rover and his sister, Ruby, were found wandering the desert together, abandoned and alone. They were brought to the Casa Grande shelter, where they waited nearly two months for someone to give them a chance.

Then Ruby finally got adopted. But sweet Rover was left behind. We couldn’t bear the thought of leaving him there, so we stepped in to save him!

Rover is now headed into a loving foste to adopt home, where he’ll be safe, cherished, and surrounded by all the love he’s been missing. He is such an incredible boy, and we are SO excited to be part of his next chapter.

No more wandering. No more waiting. No more wondering if anyone cares. Rover, you’ll never have to face the world alone again. You are loved, you are safe, and you are so deserving of this second chance. Welcome to the Desert Haven family, sweet boy! We adore you! 🫶🏼

URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR TESLA 🚨

Sweet Tesla is a 4-year-old spayed female who desperately needs a foster home.

She was found abandoned in a backyard after her owners passed away and the rest of the family disappeared. 💔 Now she is simply craving what every dog deserves affection, playtime, safety, and love.

Desert Haven Sanctuary covers ALL foster expenses and provides 24/7 support, so fostering Tesla costs you NOTHING except a little space in your home and love in your heart.

⏰ This is extremely urgent. If a foster is not found, Tesla is scheduled to go to the shelter Monday. Sadly, euthanasia is a very real possibility once she enters the shelter system.

Please help us keep Tesla safe.
