Title - Connect and Collaborate: Strengthening Our Perinatal Network
Rachel is a passionate advocate for perinatal mental health. She works as a breastfeeding peer counselor with the Pima County WIC program, supporting pregnant and breastfeeding/chestfeeding people through education and personalized feeding goals. Since 2014, she has worked in behavioral health with children and families across various settings, bringing a trauma-informed and family-centered lens to her work. Since October 2021, she has also volunteered with Postpartum Support International as a local Support Coordinator, offering emotional support, education, and connections to helpful resources like support groups and therapists. As a licensed master social worker and new IBCLC, Rachel uses her training to help parents feel confident, supported, and emotionally awareβin both their caregiving roles and beyond.
