Win souls for God and hope for children Ethiopia (WSG/HCE) was founded in 1997 by a group of high school friends who were bor
n and raised in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. During an all-night prayer time the lord spoke to them to go to the street children of Addis Ababa and demonstrate his love. So they went out and started telling the street children about the love of God. WSG/HCE-teens were shocked by the living conditions in the street and realized they need to do more than just talking about God’s love. They fasted and prayed and felt the lord challenge them to give and share whatever they had. The 10 WSG/HCE-teens started giving away anything “extra” they had such as a pair of shoes or any bit of “extra” money. The initial contributions were small but, in faith, WSG/HCE- teens planted seeds of love, faith and action. Eventually the seed yielded tremendous fruit. More volunteers joined with them and, quickly, WSG/HCE became a blossoming ministry. Now, 15 years later, we continue to submit our effort to the lord for his direction in order to bless and serve his people. For the past 15 years, WSG/HCE has been involved directly and indirectly in supporting, rehabilitating, and empowering more than 40,000 people. WSG/HCE’s medical outreach, education and feeding programs have been extremely successful over years. WSG/HCE-USA was founded by one of the leaders who came to live in the United States. WSG/HCE- USA primary objective is to create awareness about Homelessness, young prostitution, child labor, and socio-economic crisis our community facing, by creating partnership with churches, governmental and non-governmental organizations, or individuals who want to partner with the organization to change the lives of many more. The WSG/HCE’s office is in phoenix, Arizona but there is a plan to open more offices in different parts of the United States.
