Our hearts are full of gratitude as we reflect on an incredible day of fellowship, fun, and purpose at the 4th Annual Pinkies on the Green. Because of your support, enthusiasm, and generosity, we welcomed a record number of attendees and created an unforgettable experience for all who joined us.

Most importantly, your participation helps us continue our commitment to investing in the future of our community. Through the support of this event, we have been blessed to award more than $30,000 in scholarships to deserving students, helping them pursue their educational goals and college dreams.

This June, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Fabulous Far Western Region is proudly celebrating Black Dollar Days! We are turning our collective economic power into purpose.

All month long, we challenge our sisters to:
👚 Wear Pink — Show your AKA pride loud and proud.
💵 Spend Green — Put your financial resources to intentional work.
🛍️ Buy Black — Circle our dollars back into our communities by strictly supporting Black-owned businesses.

🌎 Enhance Our Environment Initiative 🌱

The goal of our last Enhance Our Environment activity is to decrease the excessive use of products and focus on using what we already have. Small changes in our daily habits can make a big impact on our environment and our communities.

We encourage all sisters and followers to participate by finding creative ways to reuse, repurpose, and reduce waste in your homes, workplaces, and chapter activities.

Please take pictures of your efforts and submit by June 30th to the comment section below so we can highlight and celebrate the amazing work being done throughout our sisterhood and communities!

This June, Alpha Alpha Iota Omega Chapter proudly joins the Black Dollar Days initiative by encouraging our community to intentionally support Black-owned businesses and brands.

Week 1 (June 1–7): Feed the Movement – Food & Beverage
