March is Social Work Awareness Month, and we couldn’t let it pass without celebrating the people who show up every single day for those who need it most. 💙

Social workers are in our schools, hospitals, courtrooms, and communities. They carry hard stories, advocate fiercely, and pour into others even when their own cup is running low. And they do it because they genuinely care.

This month we’re giving them their flowers. 🌸

If a social worker has ever made a difference in your life tag them below and let them know their work matters. They deserve to hear it.

The world feels heavy right now, and a lot of it is simply not fair. If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally exhausted, we want you to know: nothing you are feeling is wrong, and you are not alone.

Your nervous system is responding to real things. So no reaction is too much, and no emotion is out of place. Being deeply affected by difficult times doesn’t mean you are broken, it means you are human.

And that’s exactly why community matters. At NAMI Arizona, we are an organization of families, friends, and individuals whose lives have been affected by mental illness, and we believe no one should have to carry this alone.

As Michelle Obama reminds us, one light feeds another. Whatever you’re carrying this Monday, we see you. We’re here. And together, we can get through this. 💙

👇 Please share this with someone who needs to hear it today.

Half of all mental health conditions begin by age 14.

So if you’ve been struggling, this isn’t “just a phase.”

It’s okay to talk about it.
It’s okay to ask for help.
It’s okay to not handle it alone.

From world stages to everyday life, mental health is part of the story. Athletes like Amber Glenn and Chloe Kim show us that caring for our mental health matters at every age. From young people finding their way to adults carrying years of experience.

We come from generations of strength.
But survival was never meant to be the end of the story.

This Black History Month, we’re encouraging conversations that create space for growth, healing, and connection.

Even after the holidays pass, the emotional impact can linger. As our young adult advocate Aeron, from our Ending the Silence program speaks on difficulties of getting through the holiday season, he raises a bigger point.

With winter here and the days shorter, it can feel even harder to regain energy and motivation. As we close out , take time to reconnect with yourself and others. Let caring for yourself in small, meaningful ways, be a part of how move in this new year!
