On Sunday, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟳, we’re gathering in Granby, Colorado for an afternoon of community, culture, music, movement, food, and connection.

Andrew & Monica of Drumming Sounds will be there facilitating a community drumming experience built around one of humanity’s oldest ways of connecting — rhythm.

Bring your own drum if you have one, or simply come as you are. Instruments will also be available.

The celebration will also include the 𝗨𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 with audience participation, dancing, an open house of the Nuche Village model homes, and a special appearance by Connor Ryan, a Hunkpapa Lakota skier, who will share his movie during lunch.

Nobody has to explain themselves.

Nobody has to be a musician.

Nobody has to get the rhythm perfect.

People can simply listen, respond, smile, move, and participate in whatever way feels natural. 🥁

For a little while, the room has something everyone can share.

Not a performance.

Not a test.

A moment of presence and community.

These are the experiences that continue to remind us why facilitated rhythm belongs in more senior living and memory care spaces.

They probably won’t remember every word you said.
