The Phoenix Indian Center is offering a Kinaaldá (Female) & Zhízhch'į́į́d (Male) Navajo Coming of Age series designed to help families prepare for & deepen their understanding of these important cultural milestones. 👪

Join us for an informational session to learn about the workshops, activities & teachings that will take place from July through December. 🤔

Come together with community members, Elders & families to build a circle of support that strengthens our youth, honors Navajo traditions & helps carry our cultural teachings forward for future generations. 🪶

Ephraim Sloan and Layla Curtis from RUN n GUN Basketball Club kicked off the Living in 2 Worlds (L2W) June Summer Camp on Monday, June 8th with an action-packed basketball clinic.
Youth sharpened their basketball fundamentals, built teamwork skills, and explored how lessons learned on the court can help them succeed in everyday life. 🏀 💪✨
Missed our June camp? Don’t worry! We’re bringing the basketball fun back with another clinic led by Ephraim and Layla along with other cultural workshops such as beading, screen printing, medicine bag making, and more.
