The mission of the LCRD is to be a forceful and passionate advocate for our citizens and neighborhoods. The LCRD works tirelessly for our neighborhoods and partners with the development community and our City and County leaders for the betterment of Laveen as a whole. Our goal is to mak

e sure that whatever development comes to Laveen is of the highest quality and helps keep Laveen's unique character and quality of life. The Laveen Planning Committee is chartered by Maricopa County and is a member organization of the Laveen Community Council. The LPC hears planning and zoning cases for the portions of Laveen that are in unincorporated Maricopa County. The LPC does not approve or deny applications, but makes recommendations to the County Planning and Zoning department and the County Board of Supervisors.

Chartered by the Laveen Community Council in 1984, The Laveen Planning Committee is a membership organization open to all, whose members works tirelessly for the areas of Laveen that are in Unincorporated Maricopa County and partners within the development community and our City and County leaders for the betterment of Laveen as a whole. The LPC hears planning and zoning cases for the portions of Laveen that are in unincorporated Maricopa County. The LPC does not approve or deny applications, but makes recommendations to the County Planning and Zoning department and the County Board of Supervisors.
