Help our PTO Hospitality Team refresh the Cerritos staff lounge into a warm, inviting space for our teachers. It's been a few years since our staff had a lounge of their own, and we want to treat them well.

When: Monday, September 28
Where: Cerritos Staff Lounge
What we need help with: painting, furniture moving, cleaning, and having fun
RSVP: https://www.evite.com/event/0026IIAE4SKDAAMT4EPRWPGMNQFJFY

Help us make Trunk or Treat Spooktacular! We're looking for 20 to 30 families to host and decorate a trunk. This is a night students look forward to all year, and it's a wonderful way to bring families, staff, and neighbors together.

How you can help: get creative decorating your trunk, provide treats if you'd like (candy or trinkets are encouraged but not required), and sign up to be part of the fun.

Sign up here: https://m.signupgenius.com/ #!/showSignUp/20F0C4BADA928A57-65901364-2026?useFullSite=false

Together we can create a spooktacular night our students will never forget!

Thank you to everyone who came out for our very first 3rd Thursday at the Park last week.

It was so nice to see Roadrunner families out connecting.

First time joining us? Next time, look for the blue tablecloth. That's our welcome spot to help you meet other families. See you October 15

Snacks needed 🥨 Help us support our school nurse by donating snacks.

When a student needs a little something to feel better, these come in handy all day long.

Items we're collecting: Goldfish, Cheez-Its, crackers, Nature Valley bars, and water bottles.

Drop donations off at the front office anytime. Thank you for taking care of our kids!

3rd Thursday at the Park

Roadrunners, our next meet-up is tomorrow! Join fellow Cerritos families on Thursday, September 17 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Desert Foothills Park for a casual, informal play date. Bring your dinner, a drink, a camping chair, and a willingness to connect. No agenda, just good company and a chance to catch up with other families. See you there! 💙💛

Mark your calendars: our next one after this lands on Thursday, October 15, same time and place.

Shout-out to in Ahwatukee!

Conference week is a long one for our teachers, and Vero's helped treat the whole staff to dinner!

We're grateful for local businesses that care about our school, and we're always happy to support them right back 🍕

Next time you're craving pizza and pasta, give Vero's some love 🫶🏽 Thank you!
