Passion Archaeologists

Passion Archaeologists We are seniors from Arizona School for the Arts who are participating in the Challenge Based Learning Program.

As part of the action phase of our project, we have created a group called Passion Archaeologists. Our challenge is to inspire passion and promote the importance of arts in education. We want to explore artistic expression and encourage others to follow their passion and do what they love

We have been working with students from Children First Academy of Phoenix. CFA is a nonprofit, open-enrollmen

t, K-8th grade public charter school that opened its doors in 2008 to provide a quality education to the Valley's inner-city youth. They serve approximately 325 low-income, at-risk, or homeless students every day. We are also being sponsored by Indigo Cultural Center, an organization started by Eva Marie Shivers. The mission of ICC is to provide cutting edge research, advocacy and services in the areas of performing arts, education, and social justice throughout the Phoenix community in order to promote the holistic well-being and development of its residents.
