Until last year, Brandon Tory, a senior software Artificial Intelligence engineer at Google and rapper, led a secret double life. Raised in Brockton, Massachusetts, a neighborhood known for crime and drugs, he lived with his family in a shelter as a teenager. Tory knew he wanted to be some kind of scientist, but also had a passion for music. He wanted to have a huge impact in both creativity and science.

Happy to announce that Social Tech Ventures program, STEM Titans, will be teaming up with Florence Crittenton of Arizona Girls Leadership Academy of Arizona for the Technovation Challenge 2019. We're entrepreneurs, mentors, and educators looking to teach students everywhere the skills they need to change the world with technology.

Every year, Technovation invites teams of girls from all over the world to learn and apply the skills needed to solve real-world problems through technology. Be a part of the community.

Another successful summer coding camp in the books! The kids made alot of headway and had lots of fun along the way. Coding (also called programming or developing) is telling a computer, app, phone or website what you want it to do. Some educators and experts are calling it the ‘new literacy’—a subject so important that every child needs to know the basics to excel in our rapidly changing world.
