Last night, the Emerson Eagles took on the Excelencia Eagles for a friendly soccer match! Thanks to for having us at your anniversary celebration. It felt like the beginning of a really special next chapter. And another big thank you to for the refreshments!

So many people play a role in making G Road’s world go ‘round. Yesterday, came through with something the kids have been dreaming of for a while now. A CHICKEN COOP! With help from our friends at , we also built new planters with the kids. We love learning outside and are grateful to all who make it possible.

On Saturday we hosted a group of young men from in the G Road Neighborhood Garden. It was the hottest time of the day but these guys showed up with great attitudes and worked their butts off. We’re grateful for the example these young men display for the young people we work with daily.

Special thanks to (the best soil in town) for always showing up for us & for the facelift on our benches/planters. also came through and made things possible.
