Harvey landed on the euthanasia list after suffering a leg injury, but after getting the surgery he needed, this sweet soul is officially healed up, on the mend, and READY for his forever family.

And trust us when we say — this boy is the total package.

Harvey is the ultimate plug-and-play dog. No behavioral issues, no chaos, no drama — he just wants to hang out with his humans and be loved. ❤️

He’s easygoing, affectionate, loves to snuggle, enjoys car rides, patio hangs, little walks, and the occasional romp and play session. He’d make an incredible travel buddy, family dog, apartment dog… honestly whatever life you have, Harvey will fit right into it.

He’s happy, good-natured, calm, loving, and simply one of those dogs that makes life better.

Harvey is ready to spend the rest of his days making a lucky family SO happy. 🐾

FOSTER NEEDED FOR COBRA BUBBLES

Hi there! My name is Cobra Bubbles, and I hope you’ll take a minute to get to know me. 💛

I may not be the handsomest guy on the block, but I’ve definitely been called adorable. I’ve got a few wrinkles (earned through 6 years of wisdom and experience), and my face is a little rosy right now, but underneath it all I’m an incredibly sweet, gentle soul looking for a safe place to land.

I was found as a stray at the end of March, hiding under a car. I was dirty, sick with respiratory issues, and not feeling my best. Thankfully, I’ve been cleaned up by some wonderful volunteers and I’m feeling much better now. But shelter life is still really hard on me.

What I need most is a foster home where I can finally relax, decompress, and heal. My skin is irritated and red, but the clinic confirmed it is NOT parasitic. I would likely benefit from gentle oatmeal baths, good food, and most importantly, a calm and loving environment away from the constant noise and stress of the shelter.

And despite everything, I am still full of love.

I adore affection once I’ve had a moment to explore my surroundings. Cup your hands around my face and gently rub my cheeks, and I’ll melt into you with the biggest smile. I love cuddling, lounging on cozy blankets, riding quietly in the car, splashing in kiddie pools, and just being near my people.

Everyone describes me as extremely sweet and gentle. I’m strong, but calm. Quiet, cooperative, and so eager to love and be loved.

There is a rescue ready to save me IF a foster steps up. The rescue will cover all of my expenses — I just need someone willing to open their home and heart to me temporarily.

Please help me get my second chance.

We understand this picture is very hard to look at, but this is the heartbreaking reality for McMuffin right now.

McMuffin is sadly f***l incontinent, and his kennel is constantly covered in f***s. He cannot control it, and because of that, his life is at risk. We do not yet know the cause or whether his condition is reversible but what we do know is that we cannot allow him to spend another day suffering alone in a shelter in these conditions💔

Thankfully, an incredible foster with experience caring for special needs dogs stepped up to give McMuffin the chance so many others never get. Now he needs US!

Please consider donating toward McMuffin’s medical care so we can get him the diagnostics, treatment, and support he desperately deserves.

Desert Dog Project could not do the work we do without the help of so many incredible dog moms. You all truly carry the rescue world on your shoulders.

So next Sunday, we’re hosting a feel-good Dog Mom’s Day brunch; an intentional gathering to connect, celebrate our pups, and support rescue dogs in our community.
