Thank you for your interest in the local Golden Retriever Club. The Valle del Sol Golden Retriever Club was established in 1972 when a group of Golden Retriever owners and enthusiasts came together to pursue ways of promoting and enjoying their dogs. Our Club currently has 50 members. Our membership is composed of conformation, obedience ,agility ,field , rally and tracking exhibitors as well as b

...reeders, pet-therapy teams and pet owners. Our Club's mission is to recognize that the Golden Retriever is a gun dog and to encourage the members to perfect, by selective breeding, Golden Retrievers that possess the appearance, soundness, temperament, natural ability and personality that is reflected in the standard of the breed. Furthermore, we urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by the AKC as the only standard by which Golden Retrievers shall be judged. We aim to protect and advance the interests of this breed by promoting responsible ownership and encourage sportsmanlike behavior at competitions and performance events. VDSGRC is licensed to conduct Sanctioned Specialty matches, Specialty shows, Field, Agility, Rally and Obedience events under the rules of the American Kennel Club and/or guidelines of the Golden Retriever Club of America. We hold a general membership meeting on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Board meetings take place every other month. For more information about our Club please visit our website at www.vdsgrc.org

Thanks so much for the peeps that came out for the VDSGRC Holiday get together . Was one of most fun gatherings I have to say. Was so fun, lots of laughs and convo, kept meaning to take a photo but we all were so engaged in the food, ambience, and the great girl convos forgot. Until next time. ❤️
