The Pet Knot was forged to combine efforts of like-minded rescues and volunteers humbly striving to make a dent in the urgent pet over-population crisis.

We have closed our doors - thank you for the many years of support - The Pet Knot was a foster-based animal rescue focused on saving and uniting people and pets! Our talents and strategies promote animal adoptions through online, in-store, and boutique-like options for adopters. All animals receive the highest level of medical care and grooming. Animals also receive appropriate adjustment time and

basic social skills in foster homes in preparation for a new home environment. We help all animals including seniors, special needs, and those seemingly unadoptable cases and work diligently to place each in the most appropriate permanent home possible no matter how long it takes. We call ourselves The Pet Knot because not only do we connect people with pets, we keep people with them forever.

Meet Private! He is back with the rescue through no fault of his own. This almost one-year-old, 10lb small breed mix is the total package—s***ky, sweet, and oh-so-snuggly. Private loves to play, whether it’s with dogs of all sizes or his favorite cat buddies (so long as they don’t mind his playful spirit).

After a fun day, Private is happiest curled up next to you on the couch or burrowed under the blankets in bed. He’s kennel trained, doing really well with potty training (about 85–90% there), and does good with kids too!

Private has the perfect balance of playful energy and cuddly charm. If you’re looking for a little shadow who will keep you laughing by day and snuggling by night, Private just might be your guy.

Meet Robin – The Parkour Princess with a Heart of Gold! 💛 🐾

Robin was only girl in her litter, but she definitely held her own! She is the last one of her litter looking for her furever home. This 16-week-old, 9 lb dynamo is the local parkour champ—jumping, climbing, and always ready for an adventure. But don’t let her delicate features fool you; Robin is tough, smart, and full of puppy s***k!

When she’s not showing off her moves, Robin loves nothing more than curling up on a lap for some snuggles. She’s sweet as pie, but still a growing puppy, so she’ll need a family prepared to handle all the love, training, and potty breaks that come with raising a little one.

Ready to take on the challenge of raising a puppy with tons of energy and even more love? Robin is your girl!

Our pups are always spay/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on vaccinations.

🐢 Meet Turtle – Sweet, Spunky, and Ready for Adventure! 💚

Turtle is a 7-month-old cattle dog mix with a heart full of love and energy! She’s a super sweet girl who thrives with an active family and definitely enjoys her adventures, whether that’s running around, playing, or just having fun with her doggy pals. Turtle’s confidence skyrockets when she has a furry friend by her side, so she’s definitely a dog’s dog—her perfect match might just be a household with another playful pup.

While she’s still learning the ropes, Turtle’s making great strides. She’s a bit of a work in progress on the leash (but hey, she gets better once she gets going!), and her foster mom believes she'd make an awesome farm dog with the right training. One thing to note—Turtle really isn’t a fan of car rides yet. But with some patience and gentle guidance, we’re confident she’ll get there!

Turtle is looking for a patient, understanding family who’s ready to help her build confidence, work on training, and give her the love she deserves. If you have an active lifestyle and another dog to help her blossom, Turtle could be your perfect match! 🐾💙

Next week, the "Puppies" of Madagascar will be ready for adoption 🐾, and let's be real, they're going to steal some hearts. These boys are playful, loving, and a little bit ridiculous. They're 11 weeks old, and their parents are supposedly Rat Terrier mixes. We're betting they'll stay small. They're great with dogs of all sizes, cats, ferrets, and kids.
