A very busy community outreach today. Around 400 people and 50 to 60 dogs and a few cats. Thank you to Dogs Day Out AZ for letting Abbey of the Wayward Spirit join you at your outreach to help our fellow community members. Thank you to Valley Pet Surgery+ for being here today as well to provide exams, vaccines, and needed medical attention to our community members 4 legged family members.

Tomorrow will be an incredible outreach. we Are so happy to participate in outreach with Dogs Day Out AZ. Tomorrow’s outreach DDO AZ has arranged to have a partnering Veteran at the outreach to provide vaccines, exams /screenings for our unhoused community members 4 legged family members. We feel very lucky to be able to help serve approximately 400 community members and their 4 legged family members each month at outreach as well as the hygiene kits we make each month go out to help additional community members across the valley who do not or can not come to the monthly outreach.

Busy day. Finished putting together 100 kits. They will be going out tomorrow August 23rd at the monthly community outreach.

We were so excited to be able to put together the 1000th hygiene kit on June 3rd, 2026. That was only possible due to your support and belief in helping out unhoused community members. Abbey of the Wayward Spirit would like to be able to help more of our community members. We there were 50 family, friend, or followers that would join our GIVING PROGRAM for $5/month. We would be able to put together almost double the number of hygiene kits that we are currently able to put together each month. Our GIVING PROGRAM would be perfect for those that are not able to attend our monthly Bunkhouse Beats BINGO, because of the day or time. Or for those that are following Abbey of the Wayward Spirit but do not live here locally in Phoenix AZ.

It is only because of your donations our mission even possible. Phoenis has a very large, unhoused community population. We help to give our community members dignity, and help remove the stigma of homelessness. You make them feel seen and let them know that people do care .

At our June 3rd Bunkhouse Beats BINGO. Abbey of the Wayward Spirit was excited to present the 1000th hygiene kit to Darren Bunkhouse Mathis. Darren was able to hand this kit out to one of our unhoused community members. Thank you to Pat O's Bunkhouse Saloon for providing us with this space to support our mission.
