Refugees are legal :)
Interestingly, in the past few days this came up quite a few times in our conversations even among our long term supporters.
Refugees are documented, legal residents by The Refugee Act of 1980 which established a process for admitting refugees into the country and granting them legal status.

Please continue supporting the non-profits involved in supporting refugees who are here in the US already.

COVID-19 has hit refugee communities harder than most, but in spite of that - or maybe because of it - support from aid groups is as strong as ever, working to provide refugee families with information, support financial aid, even computers to help their children continue their schooling from home.

A truck load of computer equipments (over 700 items) from to help us with this big project of providing about 100 computers to the families of the kids going to .

Delivering Computers, and Hope.

We are so thrilled to have provided The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Tucson with much needed computers for their clients. With this new partnership we hope to not only provide refugee families with computers but the knowledge on how to utilize technology in the modern world. These families will be provided with their own personal computer and be offered technological and English tutoring through the IRC. The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Tucson has recently partnered with PCs for Refugees in Phoenix to provide much needed computers to IRC’s refugee clients.

We are ever so grateful to our partner The Welcome to America Project who help us with a lot of stuff and today it's party time for most of our volunteers here at PFR as we received these today. About ONE HUNDRED WiFi USB dongles so we can make sure every computer bundle we deliver to the families is a having cluter free connection to the internet.
