Why have Arizona legislators become so afraid of basic human interaction with children and members of the opposite s*x? Because at some fundamental level, they recognize how alarmingly easy it is to be swept up in Arizona's s*xual offense laws.

Mental Health Day at the Capitol (2/9/26) brought together over 600 advocates, providers, families, and community leaders — and AZRSOL was proud to stand alongside so many organizations committed to strengthening Arizona’s behavioral health system.

We are grateful to the Arizona Peer and Family Coalition and every participating organization that made the day such a powerful demonstration of collaboration, compassion, and lived-experience leadership.

Events like this remind us that meaningful public safety and community wellness require connection, evidence-based policy, and space for real human stories. When we show up together, we move the conversation forward.

Thank you to everyone who continues to advocate for a more effective, humane, and accountable behavioral health system in Arizona.

Together, we are building change.
